Can you tell me the name of the WhatsApp group, please?
I updated the page to make it clearer. The link is there next to the text. Click it to join the chat.
This website is a joke. If I am wrong “reach out”.
I really want coda help but I can’t figure out your site.
Hi Carrie. I’m sorry you’ve had trouble. I’ll consider how to make things more clear. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy relationships with yourself and others. There is no process to join. You can just show up to meetings. You are free to join our WhatsApp chat and share. Anything you like. I’ll also send you an email.
Hi Matt, thanks for giving life to this group. What do I do to join? I have known about 12 steps for a while but have been put of by the question of god. Finding this site is a gift.
Hi. To join, you only need to come to our meetings. And if you like, you can join our WhatsApp chat. We’ll be happy to welcome you.
I sent you an email. To join the group, you can show up to our meetings, listen and share. Also, please join the WhatsApp group if you can. Link is above.
Hi Matt.
Thank you for setting up this fellowship and site. As an atheist, I have joined the WhatsApp group and read with interest the wording of the steps.
I have one request to make it more readable to myself as a person with poor vision (which will also be helpful to people with dyslexia): Please would you change the font of the text to a sans-serif font, such as Calibri / Arial?
(FYI I could not see the input boxes on this page on my laptop. I have found this one, plus 3 others, by clicking on the page. I deduced that the first two were name and email address but have no idea what the 3rd one is for so I’ve had to leave it blank.)
Many thanks
Hilary
Thank you for the comment. I will look into how to change things. I’m a relative novice at web development.
Does Codependency mean the group is for people involved with an alcoholic, like Al-Anon?
The group is for anyone who is seeking healthier relationships with themselves or others. That’s our only requirement for membership. All you need to do is show up with this goal in mind.
Hi Matt,
I am just starting on my healing journey surrounding shame and co-dependency and self-compassion. In looking over your website, I am really interested in at least attending a meeting. Where do I start?
Hi! We’re happy you found us. The meetings are listed on the meetings page. All the meetings are on Zoom. You can just show up. Participation is not required. The host may or may not ask for people to say hi if they like but it’s up to the host. We’re a friendly bunch so don’t worry.
I’m wondering if these meetings are still happening. I like CoDa but am not thrilled about all the God references. This group seems like a good alternative.
Thanks
Definitely still happening. We’re very active. Meetings almost every day.
Hello Matt,
I am an atheist who just cannot tolerate the higher power/God aspect of 12-step programs anymore. I have been trying to attend one of your AHA meetings, particularly on Sunday and Friday afternoons. But every I mark my calendar and click on the link to join at the designated time there is no one there. Please help!!
